Jekyll Island

Kris & I went to Jekyll Island, GA for the weekend of June 23rd. Jekyll Island is part of the Golden Isles of the Georgia Coast. We had a very nice, relaxing weekend... Layed out, played in the waves, hunted seashells and ate some good, fresh seafood.

Kris & I met a few of my cousins in Fayetteville, West Virginia. We camped and went White Water Rafting on the New River. FANTASTIC! I have a new love... can't wait to go again.

The New River is thought to be the second oldest river in the world; second to the Nile. They believe the river to be so old, due to it flowing north. The New River offers rapids from class I to class V rapids (Niagra Falls being a class VI rapid). Definitely recommend the trip to anyone and everyone!

2007 Spring Break

This year for Olivia's Spring Break, my Mom and neice Olivia came to visit. Being their first time to visit, we got to show them around my new town and do some fun, "touristy" things. We collected shells at Lake Allatoona, played on a bunch of playgrounds, shopped and visited the aquarium... it is amazing how much the little girl knew! She taught me a lot!

My girl and I at this year's Double Decker Festival... Double Decker is an arts festival with fun bands, fantastic food, and wonderful artists in Oxford, MS.

She is growing up, but will ALWAYS be MY baby girl!

Memorial Day

My big brother Brad came to visit the ATL for Memorial Day! It was so good to see my buddy!

We didn't get to do a lot, but we did get to cookout, relax at the pool and he got to eat catfish again! Overall, a successful trip!
