Easter

I received a beautiful bouquet of day lilies from my brother Jamie and niece Olivia. They were very pretty and completed my Easter basket! Thanks ya'll- I love and miss you both!

Hawks vs Orlando

Kris and I went to the Atlanta Hawks game vs Orlando Magic on Saturday, March 22nd. The Hawks beat Orlando and we had a great time!
The Hawks play at Philips Arena which is in the same vicinity as the Georgia Dome, Georgia Aquarium and the World Congress Center. You may recall, that the week before, a tornado swept directly through this area. In the picture below, you can see the shattered and boarded windows in the skyscrapers.

Miles' poodle hair cut!

Miles was recently attacked by a Great Dane. After many trips to the vet, he is okay. He had puncture wounds on both of his shoulders, so the vet had to shave the surrounding areas to clean the wounds. Being that he was very fluffy except for his shoulders, he had to get groomed to try to even the length of his fur. While I never would have thought that he would be very cute with a traditional poodle haircut, I have to say- he is still adorable!
